The "Destroying ships" setting for the games you create: a cannonball fired from a cannon damages an enemy ship on its line of fire, and after a few hits the ship sinks. Its crew moves to another ship of the team or an ally, or perishes if there is none. The "friendly fire" setting lets you sink your own ships as well.
